Books About the Rapture

Books about the Rapture can give us hope in these uncertain times that we are living in. If you came to this website because you are worried about the future, I can certainly understand. At one point in my life, I was right there with you, storing up food like a squirrel on steroids because I was terrified of EMPs, dread diseases and the like.

This planet is on a very dark path, indeed. As I write this, Iran has likely developed atomic weapons and is about to become a global threat. World War III is on the horizon, and I don't know if we have sufficient level heads in the world to keep such insanity from wreaking havoc on us all.

But the older I get, the more I realize that God will always protect and provide for his children

With God, There is Always Hope

I'm a Bible-believing Christian, and the longer I walk with the Lord, the more convinced I am that very soon, those who trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, will be taken off this earth in an event known as the Rapture.

I hope you are one of those believers. If you are, then I look forward to getting to know you in the eternity we will enjoy with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

But many will be left behind. A few years back, I felt led to write a series of novels depicting what life might be like for those who are left behind. When a large number of people are taken off this earth in an event known as the Rapture, the world will scramble to explain it away. One way they might do that is by explaining that aliens took those pesky Christians off the earth to be re-educated.

With that in mind, I wrote a series of books based on the premise that demons will pretend to be aliens and Satan, the great deceiver, will arrive back on earth after the Rapture pretending to be a great alien leader who will save the world.

The Great Deception Series

So far, I have written four books about the Rapture that are part of the Great Deception Series. They are Abducted, Abductions, Insurrections and Dispossessions.

The first book in the series is Abducted.

Guilt and ghosts plague Calista Evans, the result of a desperate act she committed as a teenager. Eluding the law, she accepts a position in an underground bunker, growing food for the elite hiding far beneath the earth's surface to avoid a coming global catastrophe. Calista meets handsome John Becker at her new position, who claims to love her. But he doesn't know her past.

Then a coworker loses all traces of humanity overnight. He's now more robot than human thanks to a brain chip implant. To their horror, Calista and John realize the elite, with the help of mysterious aliens, plan to chip all workers the same way.

By chance, Calista discovers a possible escape from the bunker. But can she and John get free in time before they lose their humanity and free will forever?

Abductions

Millions have vanished...

And the aliens are taking credit, claiming these "disruptive" persons were removed for re-education and the betterment of planet Earth. Lydia St. James has her doubts. She can't help remembering her grandmother's warnings about the Rapture, and a terrifying event known as the Great Tribulation.

Lydia's husband, Alexander, insists she and their daughter, Cass, move to an underground bunker where they can hide and escape the unrest topside. Then Cass vanishes.

Lydia must travel deep beneath the bunker into an alien world to find her daughter. Will she be able to save her family from the horrors of a "alien" abduction? And will they learn the truth before it's too late?

Abductions is the second book in the Great Deception Series that explores the question: How will humanity explain away the Rapture predicted in the Bible?

Insurrections

For months, Phil Banowski scoured the bowels of the earth, desperate to free his daughter, Markey, from alien clutches. Alexander St. James just made the biggest mistake of his life. He moved his wife, Lydia, and their daughter, Cass, into a deluxe underground bunker to ride out the chaos topside. Too late, Alexander realizes he made a pact with the devil.

Fortunately, John Becker helps Alexander and his family escape the dark tunnels where demons posing as aliens lurk. But with the Great Tribulation looming, the earth's topside has become a fiery hell. John convinces Alexander and his family to relocate to his family's farm to help grow food so they can all survive. With their home gone and no work prospects, Alexander and Lydia agree.

But the farm isn't the haven John described, and the people left behind after the Rapture harbor dark secrets...
